Silver transfer foil in A3 format designed for laser printers and copiers. Suitable for single colored texts and grsaphics. It's possible to print on non-sublimation mugs and other hard surfaces like glass, metal or wood,...

Graphics are simply printed in black color by laser printer and finished design is in silver metalic color.

METHOD:

IMAGE PREPARATION: vector graphics
Image:  B&W & CMYK printers: 100% black
         White toner printing: 300% black (C:100% + M:100% + Y:100% = 300% composite black)

PRINT SETTINGS: CMYW
 Paper and print: Labels, multipurpose tray
 Image mode: mirrored image, color mode, white - off

PRINT SETTINGS: CMYK + B&W
 Paper and print: Labels, multipurpose tray
 Image mode: mirrored image, cblack&white mode

TRANSFER SETTINGS - MUGS

  • 160°C (320°F), 180 sec., strong press


METHOD - MUGS

  • Pre-heat the mug.
  • Fix the printed image with heat ressistant thermo tape.
  • Put silicone mat around the mug and insert to the heatpress.

ATTENTION! Countdown of the time should start only after the mug has reached the right temperature!

After the process is finished, first cool down the mug with warm water and then gradually with cold water.

  • Make sure that the transfer paper is soft to the touch before you put it down.
  • If there's any dirt or residues of transfer on the mug, clean with Isopropanol.

If the print is deffective, you can try to increase the temperature by 10-20°C (50-68°F).

TRANSFER SETTINGS - GLASS&METAL

  • 160°C (320°F), strong pressure


METHOD - HARD SURFACE

  • Set temperature of the heatpress to 200°C (392°F).
  • Fix the image with heat resistant thermo tape on the surface of the object to be printed.
  • Insert sensor of the digital thermometer in-between transfer paper and base.
  • Put 2,5mm thick silicone mat on the top of the transfer paper.
  • Close the heatpress until it won't show the recommended temperature written above.
  • After the process is finished, first cool down the printed object with warm water and then gradually with cold water. Make sure the transfer paper is soft to the touch before you remove it.
  • Remove the transfer paper from the surface.
  • If there's any dirt or transfer residues on the mug, clean it with Isopropanol.

* Print parameters may vary depending on the mug and printer type. We highly recommend you to try the basic parameters first and then adjust them accordingly..
